Lifestyle Enterprise: 650+ furniture containers sold in 3 days

HIGH POINT — The final numbers are still being processed, but the second annual Hsieh Days exclusive online buying event hosted by Lifestyle Enterprise was an unmitigated success, according to company officials.

Held Feb. 2-4 as a registrant-only online market for retailers, the 2026 version of Hsieh Days featured more product categories and SKUs than in 2025, along with special discounts available only during the event. Lifestyle officials said that more than 650 containers were sold during the three-day event and added that the sales were only one part of the success story.

More than 650 containers were sold during the three-day event, marking significant growth in both participation and engagement compared to last year.

Strong Engagement & Sales Performance

“We had more than 1,000 unique visitors to our website over the three-day period, and each spent an average of 16 minutes with us online,” said Michael Hsieh, CEO. “Buyers had time to review our offerings, and our sales reps did a great job of helping them complete their orders.”

Hsieh said that the Lifestyle Enterprise team used feedback from the first Hsieh Days held in January 2025 to enhance this year’s experience. The team created additional content and improved photography and video imagery for the expanded featured products, and the company adjusted timing to avoid overlapping winter market travel for many buyers in the U.S.

Enhanced Experience for 2026

“The digital team worked really hard to make things very easy,” Hsieh said. “One of our sales reps had over 26 of his customers in a two-state market buy more than 100 containers, and these were not regional majors. In addition to the sales, the engagement and acceptance with customers and prospects was tremendous.”

The products offered as part of the Hsieh Days online market included a mix of upholstery and case goods. Lifestyle’s new Zen motion-massage chair was part of the Hsieh Days list, as were living room, bedroom and dining packages developed in conjunction with some 40 factories. One of the bestsellers included a $1,299 MSRP five-piece bedroom group, a SKU that offered a value proposition at a non-promotional price point.

“Buyers are definitely looking for good/better/best values, and they know our products. The increased traffic from last year’s event tells us that this model can work.”

Looking Ahead to High Point

With Hsieh Days 2026 complete, the team is now preparing for the April High Point Market at the company’s 55,000-square-foot showroom. New product introductions, hosted events, and “see it/touch it/feel it” appointments will continue as part of Lifestyle’s hybrid strategy to move furniture from factory to floor throughout the year.

Lifestyle officials added that while markets will always be important, trying something different and doing it well has proven that it will be rewarded by the industry, noting that customers said the ease of shopping on a digital platform, without cost and time commitment, “made the buying process easy.”

“This is an exciting time for the furniture industry,” Hsieh said. “The willingness of the industry as a whole to adopt change and try new things is what keeps it moving forward. We are very pleased with the results of this year’s Hsieh Days and look forward to continued growth throughout the year.”
